Daniela Soto-Rios served her BFA at Parsons School of Design in New York City. She has worked as a graphic designer for brands such as Nike, Adidas, Coca Cola, and Target. Her work has also appeared in publications such as Vogue, Wallpaper* Magazine, and Dazed Digital.
Soto-Rios wanted to design a new typeface that would look good in both print and digital media. She created Glitch Font because she felt that existing fonts didn’t suit modern designs well. A glitch font is an image file with a corrupted character set. It may be caused by a bug in the software used to create the font or by a problem on the user’s computer.
